Attributed To Duncan Phyfe (1768-1854), New York, New York, Circa 1815


of Klismos form, with foliate-carved backrest, the legs ending in hairy paw feet.

Height 33 1/2 x width 18 x depth 20 1/2 inches.

Condition
Chair 1: proper right front leg with repaired break to lower leg- pin visible underside of paw foot. Pin to proper right leg side at knee, repaired break to upper proper right stile below ear, scattered scuffs Chair 2: patch to proper left side at knee to mid-leg, pins to proper right side leg to seat rail. A crack to proper right side leg mid-section, scattered scuffs
